I have used this product for a couple of seasons now. This, paired with good awareness of the winds, can only help to ensure a successful hunt. The packaging is convenient to slip into my pocket, though I generally apply it to the rim and bottom of my boots before I start to walk in, typically at the truck.I have not found that, by the time I get to my stand, it makes my feet slippery on my climbing steps. That being said…I can see how it could, with a fresh application.I usually keep it handy and rub it on a few trees as a approach my spot, and again when in the air.Like I said, this can not hurt, the smell is there, but nothing matters if you do not also play the wind.Good luck!

Works great has kept bucks in areas around our blinds. The best part is the easy no mess application of the scent. The scent line I set has turned in to a scrape / rub line …

I think these work longer and are more easier to use.

During the rut, will have one or two bucks (small ones but they are bucks) follow step by step in my footsteps with their nose buried in the ground. One walked right up to my ladder stand and sniffed the bottom rung.

Sticks to trees and stones really well. Have not see a deer while using it to see how they act
