I use several of these scents to get animals to pause for trail camera pics. They definitely stimulate interest! Reapplication is a must.

I bought a series of these to train my two pups, and so far, so good. The scents grab their attention, and they are able to follow scent trails quite well.Note: (Item not included) I am using a scent bag for training, which holds the scent well when dragged on the ground. It lays flat, leaving a solid trail. The scent itself is average in strength but lasts through many uses out in the field. When using it for search exercises — where I place an old bird wing or some fur in the brush — the results are hit or miss. It might be the pups or the scent itself. I still gave it five stars, as my pups are relatively new to this type of training. The bottle seals tightly and has an easy flip-top for dispensing. Also, I have some scents meant for indoor use — this is NOT one of them. Do not use this scent indoors.Overall, it’s good quality for the price and functions as expected. My dogs react to it and improve every day.Note: I bought all three scents (Duck, Grouse, and Pheasant), and each one grabs the dogs’ attention.Good product!

As a waterfowl hunter and dog owner, I’ve tried my fair share of dog training tools, but none have been as effective as the DogBone Duck Scent. My pup, a talented retriever named Daisy, has been training with me for months, and this scent has taken her skills to the next level. The first time I used the Duck Scent, I was amazed by how realistic it smelled. Daisy went wild, barking and running around like she’d caught wind of a real duck. It was hilarious to watch, and I knew right then that this scent was going to be a game-changer. The scent is made from 100% real duck, which I think is what makes it so effective. It’s potent and long-lasting, allowing Daisy to really get a good sniff and associate the smell with the thrill of the hunt. I’ve been using the scent with a DogBone Dog Training Dummy, and it’s been incredibly effective. Daisy loves chasing after the dummy, and the scent adds an extra layer of realism to the training. She’s become more confident and accurate in her retrieves, and I couldn’t be prouder. What I love most about this scent is how it’s helped Daisy develop a strong instinct for finding ducks. She’s now able to pick up the scent of a duck from a distance and track it with ease. It’s been a joy to watch her work, and I know that this scent has played a big role in her development. If you’re a waterfowl hunter or just starting out with your dog’s training, I highly recommend giving the DogBone Duck Scent a try. It’s a valuable tool that will help you and your pup become an unbeatable team, 5 Stars!

I’ve been using this with a dummy to train my retriever, and he responded to it right away. The scent isn’t overwhelming to humans but seems to grab his attention during fetch sessions. It holds up decently outdoors, though I reapply after a few throws. The bottle is easy to use and hasn’t leaked. It’s not a miracle product, but it does make training more realistic and effective.

Maybe it’s my dog but she didn’t react to it at all. It smells flowery to me so I don’t know if it’s really duck scented?
