So far, this light is working just fine for me. I’ve got some rural property way out in the boonies where I’ve torn down an old dilapidated barn and house. Both of those and a storage building still standing were infested with rats. Right now, I just go the land to relax and also work toward building my dream house.This hog light has been mounted on the end of a 40-foot storage container where it gets plenty of sun to charge. In the evening, I take a small amount of bait which is molasses mixed into oats and place it in the lighted area. Then I go sit about 30 yards from the oats in my chair by the campfire with my fruit of the vine, my pew pew and watch. I’ll pick off 2 to 6 rats till I get sleepy. My neighbor across the way has a bunch of hunting dogs that keep the local hog population down so I don’t get any of that kind of fun. Anyway, by morning the unlucky rats are always gone. The owls, coyotes or some other scavenger must be coming by for a snack so I never have to clean that up.This hog light is serving my purposes very well. Oh, and as long as there is not more than a couple of overcast days in a row, the light has lasted throughout the night on a continuous burn. The light is only turned on when I am at the property.

   I recommend this SynnCoosin-GN5B Solar Hog Light for observing predators on your property and the green light does not disturb them. It was super easy to install this Solar Light about 10 to 12 feet above the ground on a fascia board that is on the backside of a detached garage,The Solar Light is comprised of a very advanced solar panel circuitry and LEDs that are IP66 Waterproof. After fully charging in sunlight for 6 to 8 hours and the light can last over 18 Hours at Night. The light responds to a remote control device that is enclosed in the package, In one mode it lights at 30% brightness and then using motion detection goes to 100% brightness. The second Mode the light is out until motion detected then goes to 100% brightness.I am completely impressed with this Light, it is nothing like the toy solar lights that are used to line a walkway that tend to stop working over a short period of time. This Solar light behaves more like a corded AC light, I almost forget that it is solar powered.This SynnCoosin Solar Hog Light is fantastic, I have reduced the predator population on my property since I installed the Green light that the predators don’t seem to mind being on unlike how they run away from a white spot light. The Green Solar Light has been a good investment in property security.
