I wear a pack all day, every day. I get dirty and wet. My last pack was from Cabela’s and lasted two years before the main zipper teeth failed.This pack has a long belt to adjust to any size. When tightened it stays in place. It’s a quality belt, but a bit light. The mesh padding inside the belt can make it a bit warm, but it provides great shape stability.The zippers work well and have a hard tab to easily pull. The canvas bottom is durable.The zippers pulls forward on the main side pockets. This means you have to zip them closed all the way so items don’t fall out when you bend over.The pack is well made, but the belt strap will be the first thing to give way, at the seam.The main pouch easily holds medium to small pistols. However, for me, it’s not built well enough to pack a 1911 in a holster on the side.I would like to have this pack in all black canvas.If it survives the summer I’ll buy another.
