This was a bit messier than I realized, but it works well. I think I just didn’t realize that only a small portion is needed. Once you realize that, it’s great.

This is the real deal. Works absolutely great for what it’s intended to do. I gave it four stars because the lid did not seal well, and twisting it inevitably caused powder to drift out and all over your hands. If you’re looking for a kids project (like a Girl Scouts badge), this is not the best choice. It blows very easily, and STAINS everything from skin to counters to rugs. Wear gloves and work in a protected area.

I ordered this along with the Zephyr brush along to use for a Boy Scout activity. Things like this don’t come easily to me, so I was reluctant, but this really worked! As a suggestion, we used small smooth white tiles to dust for fingerprints. The boys loved it.It is a super fine powder but it you’re careful, it really is not too messy.

I used the fingerprint powder for dusting objects that I used the cyanoacrylate fuming method to develop latent prints on for my college assignment in criminal investigations. This powder works perfectly! However, it is a bit messy and not the easiest stuff to remove off unwanted surfaces! Otherwise, I absolutely loved it, thank you so much!
