Have used the Estrus power shot beads as well as the Pure Estrus liquid urine (the black bottle with yellow writing) on drag wick lines the last 3 years on our Central West Texas ranch, and every year both products have brought in many bucks from young button head bucks to 4.5-5.5 year old mature bucks, and management culls to shooters; it peaks all the guys’ attention!About 3-4 days after putting out the power beads, especially when humid or after light rain, we always have bucks show up that we’ve never seen on trail cams, so think that’s a good option for long range scent attraction. Pure Whitetail’s prices are really affordable considering you don’t need to use much, in fact with the power shot beads and especially the pure liquid, using less is definitely better. This stuff is strong and if you use too much of it in one area, those smart mature bucks get suspicious and will stay away until the scent dilutes from dew on the ground or a light rain. Ask me how we know… ?We’ve never been big on using estrus urine scents (or any scents) and in the have maybe tried 4-5 brands, In the last 20 years including Tink’s & other big name brands, and none have worked at all for us, except Pure Whitetail.*On a side note, we’ve also tried Pure Whitetail’s White Lightning Liquid Estrus, and it did not work for us here. Bucks would stop and smell application sites, but didn’t stop and stay long or seem to specifically come in to it. But that’s not an issue since the black bottle Pure Estrus works so well for us-guessing different areas mean different deer preferences…who knows. Anyway, we’ll continue to be repeat Pure Whitetail customers!
