This Aider is built well & fits the climbing stick very securely. The supplier delivery was quick too. However, the design of these “strap-made” aiders hang or ride right up next to the tree making it difficult to get your “booted” foot into the step. It requires practice before taking to the woods. I used wide zip-ties on each step with about 6-8″ of the tie pointing at the tree to hold the aider step away from the tree to make it easier to get my foot into the step… however, use this trick at your own risk. Another tip is that I will only be using this 2-step aider as the first/last 2 steps at the bottom of the tree…
