I’ve tried a few different turkey vests before, but this one really stands out!First of all, the number of pockets is amazing, there is a spot for everything! It’s not just for turkey hunting either. I think I can definitely use it for deer scouting and even some upland bird hunting. Super versatile.What really surprised me was the material. The fabric is soft to the touch, nothing like the stiff, noisy vests I’ve used in the past. This one feels great when worn and stays quiet when you’re moving through the woods. Plus, it’s waterproof, which is a huge bonus during wet mornings.The best feature, hands down, is the detachable seat cushion. It’s thick, comfortable, and even comes with a handle for easy carrying. It’s genuinely a nice vest for the price. However I’m 6’2″ 190lb athletic build and a Large with the straps fully sinched is still too big. Given michigan spring hunts could require a jacket. It’s still too big at its smallest size. If you think your a large, go medium.

I purchased this item for a hunting trip. In the past I never used a hunting vest, preferring to just pack a bag. However, I have seen a lot of my buddies using vests to accommodate easy access to gear and decided to try it out. I’m glad I did. First, the vest is very quiet. Let me tell you, you don’t want one of those cheaper vests that make a ton of noise and scare away the game. Second, I love all the pockets. I don’t pack a lot of gear so I used the pockets for my hunting knife, compass, extra magazines, extra water, and something to hide my scent. Another great feature is the super comfortable seat. My other friends have seats as well, but I gotta say, mine was way more comfortable (everyone kept trying to steal mine). The seat can remain attached and used like that, or removed and used separately. This vest has a very large reservoir pocket for a hydration bladder and a nice clip on the strap to hold it in place. I noticed that the bag has a section that is MOLLE compliant to attach extra items. Another nice feature was the large pocket to carry a turkey (if your hunt is successful). Finally, the back of the vest feels padded. This is something that I have come to enjoy the older I get.This vest has a lot of nice features at a nice price point. Very satisfied
